Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an experienced General Practice Nurse for flexible regional primary care clinic sessions across Callington. You will deliver treatment room procedures, immunisations, and chronic disease reviews within well-supported GP environments, with autonomy and consistency.

The role offers ad-hoc or ongoing opportunities, with sessions across weekdays, evenings or weekends, and requires an NMC-registered nurse with primary care experience and ability to work confidently in GP

Qualifications

• NMC-registered nurse with primary care experience.
• Immunisation training desirable.
• Strong treatment room competency.
• Confident working independently within GP settings.

Responsibilities

• Delivering treatment room procedures including wound care and dressings.
• Supporting chronic disease reviews in line with local care plans.
• Administering adult and childhood immunisations (if trained).
• Performing smear tests where cytology-trained.
• Conducting NHS Health Checks and routine assessments.
• Maintaining accurate digital clinical notes.
• Supporting general nursing duties as required by the clinic.
