Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an experienced Locum Advanced Clinical Practitioner to deliver ACP-led clinics across local primary care settings in Oakley. The role offers autonomous assessments, management of acute presentations and flexible sessional work aligned with your schedule.

Sessions are arranged to suit availability, including urgent access clinics, triage-based work, or routine appointments. Independent Prescribing is preferred and Enhanced DBS is required for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification (Level 7) required.
• Background in Nursing, Paramedic Science or Physiotherapy.
• Independent Prescribing qualification preferred.
• Experience in GP, UTC, walk-in or urgent care services.
• Ability to adapt to different clinical environments with Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Deliver independent ACP-led clinics across local primary care settings.
• Assess and manage undifferentiated presentations.
• Provide telephone or face-to-face triage.
• Prescribe safely within scope of practice.
• Support clinical workflows such as results and follow-up actions.
• Document accurately within service-specific clinical systems.
