Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to work across local primary care settings on flexible, sessional bookings. Based around Deanfoot Road, you will run autonomous ACP-led clinics and manage undifferentiated presentations within established teams.

Sessions are arranged to suit your availability—weekdays, evenings or weekends—with options for short-term, ad-hoc or regular bookings. An Independent Prescribing qualification is preferred, and Enhanced DBS is typically required.

Qualifications

• Advanced Clinical Practitioner Level 7 required.
• Background in Nursing, Paramedic Science, Physiotherapy or similar.
• Independent Prescribing qualification preferred.
• Experience in GP, UTC, walk-in or urgent care services.

Responsibilities

• Delivering independent ACP-led clinics across local primary care settings.
• Assessing and managing undifferentiated presentations.
• Providing telephone or face-to-face triage.
• Prescribing safely within your scope of practice.
• Supporting clinical workflows such as results and follow-up actions.
• Documenting accurately within service-specific clinical systems.
