Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking Locum Advanced Clinical Practitioners to deliver independent ACP-led clinics across local primary care settings. Sessions are fully flexible, with options for short-term, ad-hoc, or regular weekly bookings to fit your schedule.

You will assess undifferentiated presentations, provide triage by telephone or face-to-face, and prescribe safely within your scope while supporting routine clinical workflows in GP practices and community services.

Qualifications

• Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification (Level 7)
• Background in Nursing, Paramedic Science, Physiotherapy or similar
• Independent Prescribing qualification preferred
• Experience in GP, UTC, walk-in or urgent care services
• Ability to adapt to different clinical environments
• Enhanced DBS

Responsibilities

• Delivering independent ACP-led clinics across local primary care settings
• Assessing and managing undifferentiated presentations
• Providing telephone or face-to-face triage
• Prescribing safely within your scope of practice
• Supporting clinical workflows such as results and follow-up actions
• Documenting accurately within service-specific clinical systems
