Step Teachers Ltd is seeking a KS2 Teacher to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 2 in Plymouth and the surrounding areas. You will adapt approaches to meet diverse learner needs, maintain a positive classroom, and work with colleagues on longer-term placements.

A commitment to safeguarding and high‑quality teaching is essential. Ideal candidates hold QTS or equivalent with strong knowledge of KS2, excellent communication, and dependable behaviour management.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.
• Confident behaviour and classroom management skills.
• Adaptable across different year groups and school environments.
• Positive, organised, and committed to high-quality teaching.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.

Responsabilités

• Deliver engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum following provided plans.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
• Adapt teaching approaches to support a range of learning needs.
• Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
• Assess and record pupil progress when required.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to whole-school life during longer-term placements.
