Job summary

Step Teachers Ltd is seeking a KS2 Teacher to deliver engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum in Liskeard and surrounding areas. You will support pupils across a range of schools, following provided plans and maintaining an inclusive classroom environment.

The ideal candidate holds QTS or equivalent, with strong KS2 knowledge, excellent classroom management, and the ability to adapt across different year groups.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent is required.
• Strong KS2 subject knowledge across the curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Adaptable and confident working across different schools and year groups.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum following provided plans.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
• Assess and record pupil progress as required.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learner needs.
• Communicate effectively with staff and contribute to the wider school community.

Education

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
