Job summary

JD Wetherspoon Plc is hiring for a kitchen role. You will work as part of a team to prepare and cook food, keeping the kitchen running smoothly with high standards of cleanliness and safety. The pubs offer flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings and weekends, with opportunities for progression and development.

No experience is required, just a positive attitude and willingness to learn. Training is provided, and benefits include meals during shifts, discount and other rewards as you grow

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK.
• Bank account in your name.
• Be able to converse in English and understand training tasks.
• Live within reasonable traveling distance of the workplace.
• Basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present food to required standards.
• Operate kitchen equipment (grills, fryers, microwaves, etc.).
• Work as part of a team to meet time and quality targets.
• Follow hygiene, allergen, health and safety standards.
• Keep the kitchen clean and stock rotated.
• Complete induction and training and support continuous improvement.
