Job summary

Speedy is looking for a General Assistant in Bury St Edmunds to help keep the depot running smoothly. The role may involve deliveries, stock control, and assisting customers at the hire desk, with a focus on flexible hours and a strong work/life balance.

Drivers license and good communication are essential. The role offers a salary of £29,572 per annum, with opportunities for training, development and career progression within the Speedy Group.

Qualifications

• Driving licence.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong communication skills both verbally & written.
• Ability to adapt quickly to support others and deliver ESG Strategy.

Responsibilities

• Working in all areas of the depot, you will play a busy but key role in making sure our depot runs smoothly.
• On a day-to-day basis you can expect to be working both independently and directly with other colleagues in any area of the depot, including deliveries/collections, vehicle loading/unloading, electrical testing, stock control, or serving customers on the hire desk.
