Job summary

Tesco Cafés is hiring a Team Member to support front-line service, cooking and maintaining cleanliness across the cafe. You will help serve customers, prepare and present menu items, and ensure safety standards are followed in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with a friendly team, commit to minimum guaranteed hours, and adapt to flexible scheduling while delivering great service to our customers. This role offers growth opportunities within Tesco Cafés.

Responsibilities

• Keep kitchen equipment and utensils clean and tidy.
• Serve customers quickly, efficiently and with care.
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations while keeping daily records.
• Practice FIFO stock rotation to keep our food fresh.
• Accept deliveries and store food safely.
• Follow all operational policies and procedures.
• Prepare, cook, and serve food according to the cafe menu.
• Ensure food products are available and standards are met.
• Know the cafe menu inside and out and serve food as intended.
• Resolve customer issues and pass on information to the Cafe Manager.
• Stay updated with business communications and new initiatives.
• Clear and sanitise tables to keep the cafe clean.
