Job summary

Tesco Cafes in the United Kingdom are seeking a friendly Team Member to help prepare and serve food, keep areas clean, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will work as part of a busy café team, ensure safety standards, and maintain a welcoming environment for customers.

You’ll gain experience across food service with flexible hours and opportunities for progression within Tesco Cafes. A minimum of 8 guaranteed hours per week is offered, with shifts scheduled to fit the availability

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Health and Safety standards.
• Ability to work efficiently and maintain a clean environment.

Responsibilities

• Keeping kitchen equipment and utensils clean and tidy.
• Serving customers quickly, efficiently and with care.
• Following food safety and hygiene regulations while keeping daily records.
• FIFO stock rotation to keep food fresh.
• Accepting deliveries and safe storage of food.
• Following all operational policies and procedures.
• Preparing, cooking, and serving food according to the menu.
• Ensuring all items are available and correctly served.
• Resolving customer complaints and informing the Caf Manager.
• Staying up-to-date with communications and initiatives.
• Clearing and sanitising tables to keep the caf clean.
