Job summary

The Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is recruiting nurses for its nurse bank across North Wales. The role focuses on assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating evidence-based nursing care for patients and families, with some supervision responsibilities.

Shifts are flexible and set around the nurse’s availability; Welsh language skills are desirable but not required. Registration with the NMC and a clear understanding of consent and contract-of-care processes are essential.

Qualifications

• NMC registration
• Experience in pre-registration direct nursing care
• Experience in holistic nursing care
• Interest in developing nursing skills

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate evidence-based nursing care
• Work collaboratively with others to meet the needs of patients and their families
• Assist in managing and organising the clinical area
• Take part in the education, development and supervision of other staff
