Job summary

Driver Hire Edinburgh West is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers to cover a variety of assignments across West Lothian. Flexible ad hoc and part-time driving work with a range of clients and routes is available.

We pay PAYE rates (£15.50 per hour basic, £17.37 per hour advanced) with holiday pay; full-time hours may be available but cannot be guaranteed. Choose shifts to fit around your availability.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 licence valid (C+E).
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform single-drop and multi-drop deliveries.
• Adhere to drivers’ hours and transport regulations.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and paperwork; ensure compliance with safety standards.
