Job summary

Driver Hire Edinburgh West are looking for experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers to join our driving team, with a variety of assignments available across West Lothian.

Whether you’re looking to pick up occasional shifts, earn some extra income or find regular part-time driving work, we may have assignments to suit your availability. There may also be opportunities for full-time hours from time to time, although these cannot be guaranteed.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 1 year’s Class 2 driving experience.
• Maximum 6 penalty points – minor offences only.
• No IN, DD, DR or CD endorsements.
• Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and transport legislation.
• Reliable and professional approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop and single-drop deliveries across varied assignments.
• Complete vehicle checks and relevant paperwork; ensure compliance with transport regulations.
• Provide a reliable and professional service, communicating effectively with clients.
• Be flexible to work across different client sites and schedules.
