Job summary

Evolve Staffing Ltd is seeking compassionate Band 2 Healthcare Assistants to join care teams in Chipping Campden and surrounding areas. The role supports elderly residents in care homes and dementia facilities with daily living activities, mobility, meals, and personal care.

The position offers flexible shifts near your home, weekly payroll, and fast registration. Training updates are provided to ensure ongoing professional development and compliance with safeguarding and health standards.

Qualifications

• Care Home experience required, minimum 6 months.
• Care Certificate or NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care preferred.
• DBS check and Right to Work in the UK; immunizations and references required.

Responsibilities

• Delivering high-quality assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Assisting residents with mobility and safe transfers using equipment per care plans.
• Supporting residents at meals, monitoring dietary needs, and recording food and fluid intake.
• Performing bedtime routines, night checks, and continence management.
• Providing compassionate care to residents with dementia and other cognitive needs.
• Engaging residents in social activities and cognitive stimulation to combat loneliness.
• Observing changes and reporting concerns to Senior Carer or Nurse on duty.
• Maintaining tidy, hygienic rooms and safe communal areas, following infection control and PPE rules.
