Qualifications

Previous handyman/joinery or property maintenance experience.
Good practical joinery and general repair skills.
Knowledge of building regulations for social housing and HMOs.
Full UK driving licence.
Own vehicle initially; company van provided later.
Own basic tools and reliable, flexible approach.
Good communication and professional manner in customers' homes.

Responsibilities

General property repairs and maintenance.
Joinery repairs.
Repairs to doors and windows.
Basic painting and decorating.
Identifying faults and carrying out practical repairs.
Working in occupied residential properties, including social housing and HMOs.
Ensuring work is completed safely, tidily and to a good standard.
Carrying out work in line with relevant building regulations and property standards.
