Locums First is seeking Locum General Practitioners in Chesham. This opportunity provides flexible sessional work across multiple primary care services, offering autonomy and weekly availability.

You will deliver evidence-based GP care through urgent access appointments, routine reviews, telephone consultations and clinical triage, with supportive clinical teams and clear workflows to ensure safe working conditions.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered GP with UK registration
• Experience in GP, urgent care or community primary care
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments

Responsibilities

• Manage urgent and routine GP clinics across primary care settings
• Conduct telephone consultations and triage
• Assess acute, chronic and undifferentiated presentations
• Prescribe within scope and handle medication queries
• Review results, referrals and follow-up actions
• Record clinical notes in service-specific systems
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams
