Job summary

Locums First is recruiting GMC-registered General Practitioners for locum roles in ERROL, Scotland. This position offers fully flexible shifts across primary care services, with autonomy to choose sessions that fit your schedule and weekly availability.

You will deliver urgent access appointments, routine reviews, telephone consultations and clinical triage, recording notes in service systems while working with supportive clinical teams to ensure safe, efficient care in diverse environments.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered GP
• NHS Performers List inclusion
• Experience in GP, urgent care or community primary care settings
• Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
• Valid indemnity
• Enhanced DBS

Responsibilities

• Managing urgent and routine GP clinics across different primary care settings
• Conducting telephone consultations and triage
• Assessing acute, chronic and undifferentiated presentations
• Prescribing within scope and handling medication queries
• Reviewing results, referrals and follow-up actions
• Recording accurate clinical notes in service-specific systems
• Working collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams
