Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking GMC-registered General Practitioners to provide flexible, sessional cover across multiple primary care services from Carronbank House. You will deliver urgent access appointments, routine reviews and triage, with autonomous practice and varied clinical environments.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered GP with license to practice in the UK.
• Inclusion on NHS Performers List.
• Experience in GP, urgent care or community primary care settings.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments.
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills.
• Valid indemnity and Enhanced DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Managing urgent and routine GP clinics across different primary care settings
• Conducting telephone consultations and triage
• Assessing acute, chronic and undifferentiated presentations
• Prescribing within scope and handling medication queries
• Reviewing results, referrals and follow-up actions
• Recording accurate clinical notes in service-specific systems
• Working collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams
