Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to support regional primary care clinics throughout Hyndland. This role involves routine clinical tasks, patient-facing procedures and general support duties within GP clinic environments.

You will contribute to safe and efficient patient care by carrying out observations, assisting with clinical tasks and supporting day-to-day running of the clinic.

Qualifications

• Observations of patients and monitoring vital signs.
• Clear communication with patients and clinical staff.
• Good organisational skills to support clinic flow.
• DBS clearance is required; phlebotomy experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine clinical observations.
• Support treatment room tasks and basic procedures.
• Perform ECGs and routine health checks.
• Assist with phlebotomy where trained.
• Record information accurately in clinical systems.
• Provide general assistance to nursing and clinical teams.
• Maintain smooth patient flow throughout the clinic.
