Locum Ready is looking for a Healthcare Assistant to support regional primary care clinics throughout Guilsborough. This opportunity offers a mix of routine clinical tasks, patient-facing procedures and general support duties within organised GP clinic environments.

You will join a supportive team in a busy primary care setting, contributing to smooth clinic operations and patient wellbeing. You will contribute to the delivery of safe and efficient patient care by carrying out observations,

Qualifications

• Experience as a Healthcare Assistant in GP, community or NHS settings.
• Confident in routine patient observations.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to adapt to new clinics and workflows.
• Phlebotomy experience beneficial.
• Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Conducting routine clinical observations.
• Supporting treatment room tasks and basic procedures.
• Performing ECGs and routine health checks.
• Assisting with phlebotomy where trained.
• Recording information accurately in clinical systems.
• Providing general assistance to nursing and clinical teams.
• Helping maintain smooth patient flow throughout the clinic.
