Job summary

Heim is seeking freelance phlebotomists to cover Leeds and Yorkshire, joining an existing team to deliver high-quality care in patients' homes and liaise with the Clinical Operations Team for reporting.

Applicants must commit to at least 8 hours per week between 7am-12pm, Monday to Friday, with strong availability to meet patient demand. Driving own car is required; travel is within the community.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months phlebotomy experience.
• DBS Disclosure (enhanced, child and adult) required.
• Full driving license and access to own vehicle.
• References: 2 referees, at least one from recent employment.
• Language: Fluent English (required).

Responsibilities

• Carry out blood tests and domiciliary visits as a lone practitioner with telephone and mobile app support.
• Seek advice from a more senior/experienced Heim Clinical team for matters outside the sphere of responsibility, knowledge, or skills.
• Ensure domiciliary blood samples are posted or brought to the hub in time for courier collection.
• Document into the patient’s medical record of blood tests taken.
• Report to the Heim Clinical team and seek advice on specific risks identified.
• Carry out duties in accordance with company protocols and guidelines.
