Qualifikationen

• Degree in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW, or an equivalent recognised Social Work qualification.
• Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to fostering and children’s social care.
• Must hold current registration with Social Work England.

Aufgaben

• Undertake comprehensive assessments of prospective foster carers and present to Fostering Panels.
• Provide ongoing supervision, support, guidance and annual reviews for approved foster carers.
• Engage in foster carer recruitment, training and retention initiatives.
• Support placement matching processes and contribute to placement stability planning.
• Conduct investigations related to safeguarding matters to ensure safety and well-being in foster homes.
