Job summary

Ipsos is recruiting a Field Market Research Interviewer to travel across local bus routes and stations, speaking with passengers to help improve public transport across the UK.

Each shift covers a specific route or location and includes a tablet, survey materials, and ID for conducting interviews. You will work independently, typically about 2 shifts per week, and you will be paid per shift with free travel on surveyed bus services. Flexible, ongoing fieldwork opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Confident speaking to members of the public
• Ability to work independently in different locations
• Comfort approaching people in public
• Holds a full driving licence and has access to a car
• Willingness to travel locally and work on buses

Responsibilities

• Approach passengers and invite them to take part in a short survey
• Ask a set of structured questions and accurately record responses
• Capture feedback on their journey and experience
• Occasionally count passenger numbers (footfall)
