Job summary

Word360 is seeking skilled, reliable face-to-face interpreters to provide language support for individuals with limited English proficiency. This freelance role focuses on Health and Social Care settings across NHS, local councils, charities, and private partners.

You will interpret across medical, social and community environments, travel regularly within the Frimley area, and be self-employed with responsibilities for tax registration. DBS enhanced checks are preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills in English and an additional language.
• Strong organisational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple assignments.
• Professionalism and enthusiasm, with a respectful and empathetic approach.
• Confidence interpreting across medical, social care, and community environments.
• Enhanced DBS Certificate (Child and Adult Workforce, with Barred Lists).

Responsibilities

• Deliver face-to-face interpretation services to a range of organisations, particularly within Health and Social Care sectors.
• Support individuals accessing NHS, local councils, charities, and private businesses.
• Break down communication barriers to ensure access to services and support.
• Travel regularly within and around the Frimley area.
