Job summary

Word360 is expanding its team of face-to-face interpreters to support Healthcare and community services across Leeds and surrounding areas. You will work as a self-employed interpreter delivering essential language support to diverse clients in NHS, councils, charities, and private organisations.

Flexible assignments, regular travel within the Leeds area, and training opportunities are provided to help you grow your interpreting practice within a leading UK provider.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication in English and an additional language.
• Strong organisational abilities to manage multiple assignments.
• Professionalism and enthusiasm with an empathetic approach.
• Confidence interpreting across medical, social care, and community settings.
• Enhanced DBS Certificate (Child and Adult Workforce, with Barred Lists).
• Eligibility for self-employment in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face interpretation services to organisations, especially in Health and Social Care.
• Support individuals accessing NHS, local councils, charities, and private businesses.
• Break down communication barriers to ensure access to services.
• Regular travel within and around the Leeds area.
