Job summary

Word360 is the Midlands' largest interpreting and translation service provider, recruiting face-to-face interpreters to support individuals with limited English. You will interpret for NHS, councils, charities and private organisations across medical, social care and community settings, with regular travel within Yorkshire.

This is a self-employed role; you will handle your own HMRC tax registration. Flexible hours and ongoing training are available to fit your schedule.

We are currently seeking skilled, passionate, and reliable interpreters to provide face-to-face language support for individuals with limited English proficiency.

What you'll be doing

As a face-to-face interpreter, you will deliver vital language interpretation services to a range of organisations, particularly within the Health and Social Care sectors.

Your assignments may include supporting individuals accessing services through the NHS, local councils, charities, and private businesses.

You will play a key role in breaking down communication barriers, ensuring that every person has access to the services and support they need.

***Please note: This role involves regular travel within and around the Yorkshire area.***

Additionally, we welcome British Sign Language (BSL) interpreters – both Registered Sign Language Interpreters (RSLI) and Trainee Sign Language Interpreters (TSLI) are encouraged to apply.

• Enhanced DBS Certificate (Child and Adult Workforce, with both Barred Lists) If you do not already hold one, we can assist you in completing your DBS application
• Eligibility for self-employment in the UK
