Job summary

Protocol Education is recruiting experienced EYFS practitioners to support Nursery and Reception classes in Barnet primary schools. These supply opportunities offer flexible shifts between 7:00am and 6:00pm, across full-time or part-time hours, in welcoming primary schools.

You will work with teachers and nursery staff to promote learning and wellbeing under the EYFS framework, act as a Key Person for up to four children and maintain learning records, with safeguarding at the core of every day.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Early Years or Nursery setting.
• Good knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach.
• Ability to adapt to different school environments.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Support planning and delivery of play-based learning activities.
• Help implement daily routines in Nursery or Reception.
• Act as a Key Person for up to four children and maintain learning records.
• Observe and record progress while keeping information confidential.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and EYFS standards.
