Job summary

South Devon UTC is seeking flexible invigilators to join during busy exam periods. Roles include distributing and collecting papers, supervising exams, and ensuring strict protocols are followed. Some invigilators may serve as scribes/readers.

Periods peak in Oct/Nov, Jan/Feb and Apr–Jun; hours vary by school requirements, and start date is negotiable. Previous experience with young people is welcome though training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with young people in educational settings is preferred but not essential.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Distribute and collect exam papers.
• Supervise students during exams and ensure protocols are followed.
• Act as scribes/ readers for students where required.
