Job summary

Thrive Childcare and Education in Banchory is seeking an Early Years Supply Practitioner. The role offers flexible hours (Mon-Fri, 4 hours daily, 10am-2pm) to fit around you, with career progression and training opportunities paid for by Thrive.

As a Nursery Assistant, you will support learning activities, provide energetic care, cover holidays, and help children progress toward school readiness in a well-established nursery setting.

• Willingness to participate in on-the-job training provided by Thrive.
• Friendly, proactive approach to supporting early learning.

Responsibilities

• Assist with learning opportunities and care to help children develop.
• Engage with children in an energetic, supportive manner.
• Cover holidays and provide staff cover while gaining experience.
• Help children progress and prepare for school.
• Safeguard health, safety and welfare of children.
• Collaborate with parents, carers and colleagues to meet children's needs.
