Job summary

Thrive Childcare and Education in Banchory is seeking an Early Years Supply Practitioner. The role offers flexible hours (Mon-Fri, 4 hours daily, 10am-2pm) to fit around you, with career progression and training opportunities paid for by Thrive.

As a Nursery Assistant, you will support learning activities, provide energetic care, cover holidays, and help children progress toward school readiness in a well-established nursery setting.

• No formal qualifications required; all backgrounds considered.
• Willingness to participate in on-the-job training provided by Thrive.
• Friendly, proactive approach to supporting early learning.

Responsibilities

• Assist with learning opportunities and care to help children develop.

As a Nursery Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

• Assist with learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps young children to develop.
• To have an engaging and energetic personality.
• Covering holidays and help provide staff cover whilst gaining on the job experience!
• Provide effective care and learning that enables children to progress and prepare them for school.
• Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children.
• Work in partnership with colleagues, parents and/or carers or other professionals to meet the individual needs of the children.
