Job summary

Pennywell Early Learning and Childcare Centre in Edinburgh is recruiting an experienced Early Years Practitioner on a permanent basis. The role focuses on supporting children's learning and development within a new, collaborative setting as part of the MacMillan Hub network.

Salary ranges from £30,188 to £34,452 for a 36-hour week over 52 weeks. Applicants must hold one of the specified qualifications and be prepared for PVG checks and comprehensive pre-employment screening.

Qualifications

• You must hold SVQ Social Services (Children and Young People) SCQF Level 7 or HNC Childhood Practice.
• If you do not have either qualification, we will be unable to consider your application.
• This post is regulated work with children and requires PVG Scheme checks; pre-employment checks will be completed.

Responsibilities

• Support children to be confident, capable individuals and help them achieve their full potential.
• Enhance children's learning and development and create meaningful learning experiences and spaces.
• Work shift patterns from 07:45 to 18:00, Monday–Friday, with some late shifts on rotation.
