Job summary

The City of Edinburgh Council is seeking an Early Years Practitioner to join Gilmerton Early Years Centre in Edinburgh. The role is 36 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, with salary £30,188 - £34,452.

You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide high quality education and care for children and their families, helping each child reach their potential in a stimulating environment.

Qualifications

• PVG Scheme membership or update check required.
• Overseas Criminal Record Check if spent time outside the UK in the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide a service compatible with good practice in the education and care of children and young people within council policies.
• Work as an effective member of a Multi-Disciplinary or other Team promoting a stimulating environment balancing education and care.
