Job summary

Corner House Trafford Park Day Nursery is seeking Early Years Practitioners on a flexible supply basis. Roles available for both unqualified and Level 2/3 qualified practitioners, with zero-hours contracts and competitive pay.

You will work across indoor and outdoor environments, delivering planned activities, supporting routines and promoting child development in a nurturing setting. Training and career progression are highlighted as key benefits.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification.
• Genuine passion for working with young children.
• Reliable, enthusiastic and positive approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to work flexibly to meet nursery needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, nurturing care for children aged 3 months to 5 years.
• Deliver stimulating learning experiences through play and planned activities.
• Promote children’s individual learning and development.
• Support daily routines and holiday cover.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Work as part of a skilled Early Years team.
• Follow safeguarding requirements and nursery policies.
