Job summary

Thrive Childcare and Education in Leyland is seeking Early Years Practitioners with Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualifications to join our flexible supply team. You will provide high-quality care for children aged 3 months to 5 years, support learning through play, and help maintain safeguarding and well-being.

We offer flexible hours, competitive pay of £13.45 per hour, and opportunities for funded training and development.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification required.
• A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting development.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, nurturing care for children aged 3 months to 5 years.
• Deliver stimulating learning experiences through play and planned activities.
• Promote each child’s learning and development.
• Support daily routines and holiday cover.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Work as part of a skilled Early Years team.
• Promote health, safety and wellbeing of all children.
• Follow nursery policies and safeguarding requirements.
• Act as a positive role model for children and colleagues.
