Job summary

Bright Horizons Nottingham is seeking a Nursery Practitioner to join the Bright Flex/Bank team at our Nottingham nursery. You will support EYFS delivery, engage children in educational activities, and help with daily tasks while benefiting from flexible bank hours and employee benefits.

The role requires Level 2/3 Early Years qualifications or higher and prior experience with children. DBS checks are required, and the employer promotes safeguarding and inclusive practices.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 2 or 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Previous experience working with children in Nursery settings.
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
• Ability to use effective communication with children and adults.
• Solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of the EYFS through engaging children in activities.
• Help with day-to-day tasks such as room tidying and preparation.
• Work as part of a team to ensure high standards of care.
• Contribute to a safe, caring and stimulating environment.
