Job summary

Bright Horizons Coulsdon Day Nursery and Preschool is seeking a flexible practitioner to join the Bright Flex/Bank team at our Coulsdon nursery. You will support delivery of the EYFS alongside a supportive, passionate team while benefiting from the security of being an employee.

Responsibilities include engaging children in educational activities, helping them reach milestones, and assisting with day-to-day tasks such as room preparation and tidying. DBS checks apply.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 2 or above Early Years qualification.
• Previous experience working with children – Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar.
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
• Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding.
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Within this role, you will support colleagues with their delivery of the EYFS through engaging children in entertaining and educational activities, encouraging their development towards key milestones.
• You will also work as part of a larger team to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed, such as room tidying and preparation.
