Job summary

Bright Horizons Didcot Day Nursery and Preschool is seeking a flexible Bank Nursery Practitioner to support the delivery of the EYFS. Working as part of our Bright Flex team, you’ll blend agency flexibility with the security of being an employee, with a range of shifts to suit your needs.

You’ll engage children in educational activities, help them reach milestones, and collaborate with a larger team to keep rooms tidy and prepared.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 2 or 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Previous experience working with children - Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar.
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
• Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding.
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Support EYFS delivery through engaging activities.
• Encourage child development toward milestones.
• Assist with day-to-day tasks like room tidy and prep.
