Job summary

Partou Oxton Day Nursery & Pre-school is seeking a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualified nursery practitioner to take on the flexible 15 hours per week Lunchtime Cover Assistant role. You will work to ensure children engage in activities that support their learning and development in line with the EYFS.

You will provide exceptional care and compassion, maintain a safe, inclusive environment, and build strong partnerships with childcare colleagues and families.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 Early Years qualification.
• Strong EYFS knowledge.
• Passion for early years education.
• Confidence in supporting children's learning and development.
• Commitment to safeguarding and continuing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide lunch-time cover and supervise nursery children.
• Support children's learning and development in line with EYFS.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive environment and build partnerships with families.
• Support the nursery team during staff lunch breaks.
