Job summary

Partou Hucclecote Day Nursery and Pre School is seeking a Level 2 Early Years qualified nursery practitioner to fill the flexible 15 hours per week Lunchtime Cover Assistant role. You will help children engage in learning activities in line with the EYFS and provide caring, safe, inclusive environment.

You’ll step in during lunch breaks to support our nursery team, building strong partnerships with families and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 Early Years qualification.
• Strong EYFS knowledge.
• Passion for early years education.
• Confidence in supporting children’s learning and development.
• Commitment to safeguarding and continuous professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide lunchtime cover and support during lunch breaks.
• Engage children in stimulating activities in line with EYFS.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all children.
