Step Teachers Ltd is seeking a qualified Drama Teacher to support secondary schools in the Wood Green area of London. Flexible short-term and long-term opportunities are available, with placements across different schools and year groups.

You will deliver engaging Drama lessons, adapt to various schemes of work, and contribute to performing arts departments. Ideal candidates will hold QTS or equivalent, have strong drama knowledge, and demonstrate excellent classroom management and safeguarding

Formación

• QTS or equivalent is required.
• Strong subject knowledge in Drama and performing arts.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities.
• Confident classroom management skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of pupils.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver creative and engaging Drama lessons following provided plans.
• Inspire students through practical and performance-based activities.
• Encourage teamwork, confidence-building, and expressive communication.
• Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
• Assess and record pupil progress where required.
• Contribute positively to performing arts departments when placed in longer-term roles.
