Job summary

Silver Lodge Care Home, part of Willinbrook Healthcare within Care Concern Group, is hiring a Care Assistant. You will support residents with complex needs, including advanced dementia, following individual care plans to promote dignity and wellbeing.

Join a team delivering compassionate, structured care in a supportive environment with paid DBS, pension, uniform and onsite parking. Flexible hours from 11 to 44 per week, 5.6 weeks leave pro rata.

Qualifications

• NVQ2 in Health & Social Care, or willingness to obtain.
• Caring, compassionate and respectful approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop within a complex care environment.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with complex needs including advanced dementia.
• Provide safe, consistent and person-centred care following care plans.
• Support structured routines to promote dignity, independence and wellbeing.
• Respond to changes in behaviour or wellbeing and maintain a calm environment.
