Job summary

Angard Staffing is recruiting for a Royal Mail Delivery Driver in Dalkeith. This temporary role involves delivering letters and parcels, with a mix of driving a Royal Mail van and on-foot delivery along your route.

You must hold a full UK driving licence (no more than 6 points), be physically fit to walk long distances, and adapt to variable shifts. A driving assessment is required on start.

Qualifications

• Driving Licence: Full, manual UK licence with up to 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in/out of the van, and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; must adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels as part of your round, mainly on foot and by van.
• Safely deliver all items on your route and handle election materials and certain items per Royal Mail standards.
• Be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering in all weather.
