Job summary

Angard Staffing Solutions Ltd, on behalf of Royal Mail, is recruiting flexible Post Person with Driving roles. You will be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels along your route, with some parts on foot and driving a van. You will work flexibly to meet daily delivery needs.

You may be required to pass a driving assessment at start; rates vary by shift; full, manual UK driving licence required; heavy walking daily.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; ability to adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels on your route, in all weather.
• Drive a Royal Mail van and complete parts of your route on foot.
• Ensure items are delivered safely and handle election materials where required.
