Job summary

Angard Staffing Solutions Ltd is recruiting flexible Post Person with Driving roles for Royal Mail across the United Kingdom. You will drive a Royal Mail van, deliver letters and parcels, and occasionally walk parts of your route to ensure items reach their destination.

Expect shifts that vary and a driving assessment on start. A full, manual UK licence with up to 6 points is required, along with the ability to walk long distances and lift up to 16 kg.

Qualifications

• Driving Licence: Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Physical Fitness: Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van regularly, and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Flexibility: Shifts can vary, so we need team players who can adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your round, driving a Royal Mail van and occasionally delivering parts of your route on foot.
• Securely deliver all items on your route and follow Royal Mail standards for handling and delivery, including election materials and restricted items.
• Be the face of Royal Mail in your community, providing exceptional service in all weather and conditions.
