Ideal candidates hold QTS or equivalent, have secondary PE teaching experience, and can adapt to different school environments while prioritising safeguarding and pupil welfare.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching PE at secondary level.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Energetic, enthusiastic and motivational teaching style.
• Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Flexible, reliable and adaptable to different school environments.
• Available for daily supply assignments.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging PE lessons in line with the national curriculum and school expectations.
• Teach PE to secondary-aged pupils, encouraging participation and confidence in physical activity.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed learning environment.
• Promote physical fitness, teamwork, and positive attitudes towards sport.
• Adapt activities to meet the needs and abilities of all pupils.
• Follow lesson plans provided by the school and ensure continuity of learning.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, effort, and participation.
• Support pupils' learning and development throughout the school day.
• Work collaboratively with school staff and leadership teams.
• Uphold safeguarding, welfare, and health and safety responsibilities at all times.
