Job summary

Step Teachers Ltd. is seeking Secondary Supply Teachers for daily supply across Enfield and surrounding areas. You will deliver engaging lessons for KS3/KS4, adapt to various school settings, and maintain a positive learning environment.

Ideal candidates hold QTS or equivalent, have recent UK secondary teaching experience, and can teach across multiple subjects or specialise. A valid Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one is essential.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Recent experience teaching in UK secondary schools.
• Confident teaching across a range of subjects or specialising in one.
• Demonstrates strong classroom management and adaptability.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Adapt quickly to different school environments and classroom expectations.
• Manage behaviour effectively and promote a positive learning atmosphere.
• Follow lesson plans provided or create content when required.
• Assess pupil progress and provide timely feedback.
