Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a passionate Teacher of Maths for daily supply across Liverpool. Immediate starts available. You will deliver engaging Maths lessons to KS3/KS4 students, maintaining high standards and adapting for varying abilities.

QTS or equivalent is required, with experience in secondary Maths and strong classroom management. The role offers flexible daily supply work across multiple schools in the Liverpool area.

Qualifications

Experience teaching Maths at secondary school level.
Strong subject knowledge and ability to deliver engaging, well-structured lessons.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Ability to motivate pupils and support progress in Mathematics.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging Maths lessons to secondary pupils across KS3/KS4.
Teach topics including algebra, geometry, fractions, percentages, statistics and problem-solving.
Follow existing lesson plans and ensure continuity of learning.
Develop numeracy, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Maintain positive classroom behaviour and supportive learning environment.
Adapt teaching to meet different pupils' needs and abilities.
Help pupils apply concepts to real-world situations.
Monitor understanding and support progress with staff collaboration.
