Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RGN) with current registration
• Willingness to complete Diploma/Degree in Critical Care Nursing
• Post basic course ENB 124/100/920 desirable
• Continuing education and development encouraged

Responsibilities

• Manage ventilated, haemofiltered and cardiovascularly compromised patients under supervision while developing autonomy
• Support Nurse Team Leaders and Managers in training and development of junior staff
• Care for acutely unwell patients outside critical care (Recovery/ED)
• Stay updated on Critical Care Outreach changes and revalidation requirements
• Deliver patient care to a high standard using a holistic, research-based model including patient and relative involvement
