Tradewind Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to support learning across our partnership schools in Rotherham. You will supervise classes, follow lesson plans and help maintain a positive, engaging learning environment.

Opportunities include day-to-day supply, short-term placements and longer assignments. The role suits graduates or individuals with transferable skills, offering flexible patterns and the chance to build classroom experience in a supportive education setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in a school or educational setting preferred.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to supervise across multiple subjects.
• Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of students.
• Right to work in the UK and DBS checks where required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise classes following lesson plans.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Ensure students stay on task and complete work.
• Provide clear instructions and support learning where needed.
• Follow school safeguarding policies and procedures.
• Register students and report attendance concerns.
• Adapt to different school environments and age groups.
• Support wider school duties as required.
