Vision For Education Ltd. is recruiting a Cover Supervisor to support learning in secondary settings across Essex. The role focuses on encouraging student engagement, maintaining discipline, and ensuring smooth handovers to absent teachers.

Ideal candidates may be graduates or current undergraduates or those with childcare experience, with a desire to work in education. Training is provided, and roles can be full-time or part-time across partner schools.

Qualifications

• A degree, or experience working with young people or a willingness to learn.
• Leadership skills and confidence to lead a classroom of up to 30 students.
• A passion for education and providing the highest possible level of support to young people.
• Flexibility in their schedule and adaptability to teach at multiple schools.

Responsibilities

• Encourage the class's learning and manage student behaviour.
• Record accurate registers and attend to attendance details.
• Provide a handover to the absent teacher with essential information.
• Create and maintain a positive learning environment for all students.
